fullscreen problem (1 Viewer)

in the last couple of releases i have the problem of when i start mp it opens in a small window then i click the screen button netx to where the x is to close mp it use to fill the screen without going full screen but now when i click on it it goes full screen which causes me problems is there a setting to make it behave the old way.
even if i try to re size the window by dragging it to re size it it just goes full screen

can anyone help
