Future directions of MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

I love MP as a mediaplayer, but I have a hard time to get the tv-part working. Chanelswitching is not working, almost everytime the chanel freezes for 10 sek or forever. I'm a new user and probably need to configure MP more and I'm using the internal tv-engine...

The MP application is very beta or even alpha in its development. So there are many things you will need to try, and then back up from. It has taken me three weeks to get an optimal system, which still will crash from time to time.

Geez...over a year since my flaming post about the MediaMVP as a client to MP, and another user brings it up again. Even saw a poll about it. Users want it. And to respond to another reply, yes there are fanless computers you can use as a client, but not for $89.00US! I've used GBPVR with MediaMVP and it works flawlessly (haven't tried live TV though). Still like the features of MP, but can't use it until a media extender is supported. Such a shame....
