That means too, that diseqc works very good. I have a multiswitch for astra and hotbird.</p><p>Now I have find out, after several tests, that:</p><p>1. MP (Level A/A, B/A) sends no diseqc-Info to the multiswitch (msw) to switch in highband. But here comes a 22-kHz-signal and the msw switch to hotbird.</p><p>2. autotune is scanning only the lowband. At the mark 11700 autotune scan with the astra-channel-infos the hotbird-transponder. Because the frequencies here are not correct, the AFC of the nova will catch only some channels from hotbird.</p><p>3. really example:</p><p>at the skip to 11.895 autotune goes to hotbird to the channel CCTV instaed to astra-highband. But this channel has the correct F=11.034.</p><p>You can browse the TV-tables with sql-lite-browser (find in the mp-docs-directory). Here can you see the frequencies of tvdatabase.</p><p>The different between the real value and the wrong value is </p><p>850 MHz. This is too the different between LNB0 and LNB1 and shows, that there is no switching to the highband. You can see this also, when autotuning find "updated" programs in the first seek-running.</p><p>P.S. Astra 19,2 and hotbird 13 have more than 2000 !!! channels !</p><p>autotune find max 600 channels.</p><p></p><p>I think, this problem is very important to clear, because many users have problems with autotuning in diseqc. I cannot change from mce to MP till this problem is away. General BDA LNB selection</strong></p><p><strong>2. After reboot mce was good again. I have installed it from the win32-drivers, but using the bda-drivers.</p><p></p><p>Now you make a complete scan and you will find all ASTRA and HOTBIRD-CHANNELS !!!!!</p><p></p><p>Now you select e.g. PRO7,12.480 V, and watch this program onetimes in WINTV2000. Then you close this programm and go to MP and make a scan. You will find all highband-channels, but only Vertical !!</p><p>You can try this with all 4 possibilities for ASTRA.</p><p>With hotbird you have 8 possibilities.</p><p></p><p>This means, WINTV2000 replaced the missing or wrong diseqc-function in MP and can operate as a diseqc-selector.</p><p></p><p><strong>If you have 2x NOVA-S PLUS, you must select card2 in MP, because WINTV2000 select card2 as first card.
