Had some time today and after a bit of trial and error, I got this plug-in working on Windows 7 64bit with a cheapo Ortek VRC-1100 (aka Hama MCE, aka Adesso ARC-110, etc...) remote.First let me thank everyone in this thread, there were lot of good bits here that helped me piece this together.Base software installed for this was:Windows 7 Professional 64-bitMediaPortal 1.0.4.23491 (1.1 BETA-1)Recompile of Generic Keyboard/Remote Input Plug-in 2.1.0.0 by disaster1231.1.0 uses the \ProgramData directory structure for custom data, I think this is where most go wrong with this.Copy the two .dll files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\processCopy the MCE keyboard.xml to C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\InputDeviceMappingsDisabled all other remotes in MediaPortal ConfigurationMapped all the keys for the remote in the Keyboard Input Plug-in config in MediaPortal ConfigurationNot all the buttons work, I still have some fine tuning to do, but the basic functionality is working and I can successfully use this $15 cheapo knock off remote! That was it, hope this helps. On a related side note, I also installed the MPTray plug-in to take control of the start button to have it start MediaPortal.-Jason
