Yes,

I have tried:

Removing the global keys and alerts that you access through expert configuration.

Turning on and off the MP remote settings for all different types of devices.

Installing a program called eventghost (although i evidently have no clue what i'm doing)

Installing generic keyboard plugin, loading the included file for the speedlink remote.

I can't use the remote to start mediaportal with the green button, and inside the program only the arrow keys and the ok button work!
