I have played around with this for a bit and ran into the same issue myself and I have found a way to actually get the guide data to actually import and show up in the tv guide in mediaportal. This is how to get the data to show up in the guide in mediaportal. First set up mc2xml according to the howto entittled free working epg in the USA. Create your channels in the tv channels section of the tv server setup program according to the channels that are in the guide data that you have downloaded. This is a rather tedius proccess especially if you have many channels like myself but this is the only way I hae found that will actually import the actual guide data into the mediaportal tv guide. Once you have created all the matching channels according to your guide data, you will need to enable the xmltv plugin then go to channel mappings in the xmltv plugin settings and you will want to click on load/refresh. This will bring up all your channels and it is here that you make sure that they are mapped to the correct tv guide channel. Make sure and or choose the correct channels then click on save. You will then want to go to the general page of the xmltv plugin settings then you can click on import. This may take some time to have all the guide data imported depending on how many days and channels of gude data it needs to import but once it is complete, it will tell you how many channels it has imported as well has how many programs will has imported. You should now have guide data in your tv guide in mediaportal. Hope this helps.

MediaPortal Version: 1.10RC2

MediaPortal Skin: Bluetwo 4:3

Windows Version: Windows XP Home SP3

CPU Type: Intel Pentium IV 2.53GHz

HDD: 80GB

Memory: 512MB

Motherboard: Intel

Video Card: Nvidia Geforce MX 440

Video Card Driver: 6.14.10.9371

Sound Card: Soundmax Intergrated Digital Audio

Sound Card AC3:

Sound Card Driver: 5.12.1.3513

1.
