Gmail, can someone do me a favour? (1 Viewer)

Hello,

i need a GMAIL account. Unfournetly gmail does not give german users a email adress with @gmail.com,
only googlemail.com is avaible which is a really shit** addy. So, i was wondering, whether some non german users could send me an invite.

But I just figured out by following the invitation link I can only create a @googlemail.com account.
I found no way changing this into @gmail.com.
Seems like they are recognizing that I'm from germany.
It doesn't matter where your invitation is from?

It is not completely impossible that your IP contains a clue about your location. I'd try a US proxy first.
