Well having found mediaportal2, and due to my TBS software playing up, I now have TV back on my PC whey-hey!
Pity I can't find any way to install any plug-ins (MpeInstaller not found).
I can't disable 'Always on top' for the viewer.
I have no volume control in the viewer.
I can't minimise the viewer.

Otherwise it's not too bad.

The MpeInstaller is only for MP 1.

Pressing Alt-Enter toggles between 3 window modes : Fullscreen -> Always on top -> Windowed.
Pressing Alt-Enter again should put you in regular windowed mode, you can tell because the maximise and minimise buttons are visible in the top right.
