I have a GoTView remote, compatible with MS Media center. It emulates keyboard and mouse.
I am unable to remap it (it has no software and remapping in MP do no good).
I have complete list of keybord combinations related to the buttons on the remote, but there is no way to tell MP, which keyboard combinations to use.
When I activate MCE remote in MP config, the mouse mode, navigation butttons (up-down-left-right-back), volume and exit buttons work. At the same time playback buttons (play/pause. rewind, forard, last, next, stop) does not work.
When I activate Centarea HID in MP config, the mouse mode(except mouse buttons), navigation buttons(except back), playback buttons (except stop) work. At the same time exit button and mute does not work.
Print, music, video, pictures, tv, home, dvd menu does not work in any mode.
What do I need to remap the buttons on remote?
UPD.: Problem was solved by keybord input plugin. However, MP is working unstable with some button combinations.
