Are Vista drivers\software available from your card manufacturer, these can usually work with Win7.

Also just to be clear about the tv part, is this just analogue or the all singing analogue\atsc\clearQam, would be nice to know make\model.

i'll try vista drivers and see if that helps. i have no idea what type the tv part is. they told me to use drivers for a theatre pro 750. it has a coaxial thing on the back.
