Green MCE Remote Button Causes MP To Lose Focus (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have just attempted to install & configure Mediaportal (ver. 0.2.2.0) -a couple + times now- & I keep getting the same issue.

I install MP & configure it. I install MPTray. It works fine until I adjust the MP configuration (ie. add video folder(s) etc.).

When I press the remote's green button it will load the app but the auto-hide taskbar pops up with the MP app highlighted. I have to alt>tab to regain focus. I have tried closing down various running apps -including the likes of MCE standby- & even ehome services: no success.

I have tried adjusting various general startup requirements, like always on top & start in fullscreen, out of frustration: no luck.

I have looked at the debug logs but nothing presents itself as the final line is only MP starting up.

I want to use this programme for advanced control of my Matroska media files on my bedroom HTPC which is networked to a main HTPC rig. As I can't get MCE to recognise them, it may be my best solution. Plus I like the ability to have my fast-forward, rewind buttons back (they don't work for my preferred filetype).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try using EventGhost: https://www.team-mediaportal.com/files/Download/SystemUtilities/EventGhost/ and remove MPTray...

Back now. Thanks for the option but been there, done that. I had planned on using it to have remote for Zoomplayer access but the modified driver caused other issues & had to Ghost back as even system restore would not return MCE remote functionality.
