I'd like to integrate a sensor reading page for my home sensors. The current GUI elements are not very helpful..
Maybe there is a general demand for a custom sized full graphic element...

My proposal would be to generate a (GDI) window/label and pass a function/eventhandler as argument for the paint/invalidate event. So a plugin developer could design this area as a bare display area within the skin. I'm not sure if this is possible but this seems a simple and very flexible solution to me. But i'm not sure if Mediaportal is GDI enough for this...

In addition one would need a function to force the redraw and/or a timer, that calls the user paint event every n ms.

    Georg

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
