I have a problem with the Television settings in Media Portal Configuration. The fields for H.264 Video decoder and LATM AAC audio decoder are no longer available. These two fields are greyed out, but they were there yesterday. As a result I can no longer watch HD channels.

Has anyone seen something similar before?

I have been doing a few things lately, including installation of For The Record, and upgraded the BIOS for my 780G motherboard. Could the BIOS upgrade cause something like this? Perhaps it's a registry setting missing?

Any thoughts on this is appreciated.

Hmm. How can I fix that? Would I have to reinstall MP?

By the way, I'm running MP and TV Server on the same machine, Also, I can play standard TV, and the settings for MPEG2 TV etc. are still available.

I guess this one replaces the MP TVE3 tv client plugin, so probably its missing some options in the config? You could test if uninstalling 4TR helps, after you have set the config correctly you should be able to reinstall 4TR.

Thats just guessing, so better to contact the 4TR author for correct information.

For the record does replace the TVclient plugin in the C:\programfiles\team mediaportal\mediaportal\plugins\windows folder, with this installed you are not able to select the h.264 settings in config.

The old plugin is still in the folder, just renamed, so you could move TVPlugin.dll and then rename TVPlugin.dll.old back by removing the .old
