Hi there, i have a weird problem. When i start MP the first MKV plays with no problem but the second gives me a error as you see in the screenshot. I did a graphedit and i cant find my Haali splitter back, when i play a movie i see the haali icon and i see that data is being transfered.

I reinstalled haali splitter and it didnt fixed it. I changed the merit code to +255 didnt work either

Could someone help me please. Thank you

EDIT: I reinstalled windows vista last night and i am still having the problem.
What i did is:
- Installed AC3Filter
- Installed Haali splitter with VSfilter on ON for subtitles
- Installed FFdshow with H264 on disabled
- Installed the MPC codec
- Installed MP with the subtitle hack from https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ion-mpc-hc-subtitles-engine-54130/#post371988

Codecs in MP
- MPEG: MPC (gabest)
- H264: MPC
- Audio: AC3filter
- AAC: FFshow
- Directsound: Primary

This is a fresh vista install so something serious is wrong :(

EDIT2:
I tried MPC program itself (latest SVN) and what i see is that when i play the first movie 3 icons appear, ffdshow, ac3filter and haali and when i press stop and starts a second movie 3 more icons appear, somehow the fliters arent closed right when i load up a second movie.

This is a problem I also have with windows 7. I ended up not using MPC-HC as H.264 codec anymore. I now use cyberlink or the H.264 Windows 7 codec.

When you installed haali did you turn off explorer/shell extensions. If not, uninstall and reinstall doing so. Shell Extensions seem to be the root of all evil with haali.

Could you please post this svn or send it to me by PM. I really want to solve this problem too... using MPC-HC is the only way I can play onlinevideo youtube files...

    Thanks

I used this SVN, XvidVideo.RU - Media Player Classic HomeCinema (x86/x64), svn 1179

For youtube I installed PlayFLV PlayFLV that solved all my problems.

Unfortunately this build does not solve the problem under windows 7... I already have flvsplitter for youtube but it was a problem with the renderer... anyway I don't know how but registering this filter solves the problem with youtube even without selecting it as a codec in videos section of configuration.exe.

    Thanks anyway

Have you tried this link? Enable WMP to play FLV - Windows 7 Forums

Shark007 codecs seem to work for people with Windows 7

    Good luck!
