Hi,
If I have the following setup;
One desktop;
* Windows XP
* Running the new TVEngine0.3
* have all my media stored (recordings, music, movies and so on)
* have all my TV cards and the timeshifting buffer
One HTPC;
* MS Vista
* Running only the MP client. All folders (music, pictures, movies) point to shares on the desktop/server).
How much is the harddrive used on the client (the HTPC)?
For example, when I watch TV are something stored on my HTPC harddrive or does the MP client only read the timeshift buffer from the server?
I want to limit the harddrive usage on the HTPC as much as possible to make it as silent as possible since all cooling is passive and only the harddrive and the power supply makes noice.
Regards
