Hardware configuration ok? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm new to Mediaportal and HTPCs in generall. I would like to know from you if the following setup is sufficient for the following tasks:

Bluray playback
divx playback from hdd
Live TV / Timeshift / TV recording
Picture and sound via HDMI to TV
Internet browsing from the couch

The components will be mounted in a normal PC case which will reside ~4m away from the tv and ~6m from the couch.

AMD Athlon II X2 240e
LiteOn iHOS104
be quiet! Pure Power L7 300W
Samsung HD204UI 2 TB
TechniSat SkyStar S2 HD
Samsung DIMM 2 GB DDR3-1333
KeySonic ACK-540 RF+

Hi there,

Depending on your content resolution (SD, HD 720p, 1080p, 1080i) the onboard graphics won't be sufficient.

Also, with this being a singleseat, then 2GB is not really enough, 4GB would be better.

Make sure you get a quiet case and cpu fan too.

Alex did you find a board with on board graphic card who will be sufficient for full hd ?
i cant find in the moment a good board.
