So I've just built a flash new mediaportal htpc for my bedroom. Here's the specs:CPU: AMD Quad CoreMotherboard: GA-MA78GM-S2H (onboard hdmi and spec'd to 1080p with onboard ATI 3200HD)2 Gigs ram 10661 terrabyte hard driveRunning vista home premium with SP1 in a single seat config with a HVR2200 dual hybrid tuner.Codecs: ffdshow, coreavc, powerdvd 8 ultra.The machine runs well, but I have turned off hardware decoding in MP and Powerdvd because I sometimes get green screens, which I assume is a problem with the decode. All runs fine without hardware decoding but I would of course like the benefits of lower cpu usage etc that come with h/w decode.Are there specific things I can check? I'm fairly sure I'm running the latest codecs and drivers.
