I think it would be nice to have a hardware link on the main http://mediaportal.sourceforge.net website.
A brief introduction to the required hardware and suggested hardware would be nice, then a place that users could enter what hardware they have had working, and a place for users to explain if they had to do anythign special to get the hardware to work.
