I have a question. My controller was working fine until suddenly when i hit channel 12 it goes to 13 and so on. It is always one channel off. I tried a different pvr and the controller works fine. I tried uninstalling all drivers both for media portal and the card/controller. any suggestions?

are you living in the US?

Did you delete a channel lately?

Does MP show in the OSD 13 instead of 12, or does it just change to the wrong channel (13)?

Yes i live in the US, no i did not erase channels and it switches to the wrong channel and displays the wrong channel on the OSD as well.

I found a reason why it's not working for other for future reference. When i did auto-tune for cable hook up, i dont have a channel 1. So for some strange reason, media portal made channel 2 channel 1 and every channel was off by 1. Now that i added a fake channel 1, it seems to be working. I dont know if this is a bug or not, or maybe its my computer. But there ya go.

Hi,

its no bug, its a feature.

Therefore my question about your origins. Check Configuration->Television->Misc "Select channel by index (non US)". Uncheck this and there is no need for inserting fake channels any more...
