well i have xp and the haupage HVR-1800 MCE Kit.

post 5 i downloaded that, and it scaned all my channels (picks up 9) and now everytime i start mediaportal and click on turn tv on, the program ends and it has one of MS's send error report things.

whats going on?

Well, without logs it's very hard to tell what's going on. If you use the test tool and post the zipped logs it produces, someone should be able to tell what's happened.

well i ditched windows all together, i guess its time to make mythtv work cuz mediaportal seems very glitchy(keeps freezing and audio problems)
