Hi Guys,
I am just getting into using my laptop as a client so I can watch TV and films etc from different rooms to which the TV PC is in. I have a Hauppage Nove T500 card that I don't use at present and thought about teaming up the Hauppage remote with the laptop.
The laptop has a SMSC Fast Infrared port built in, although I have never used it. What is the likelihood that this IR port will work with the remote, I ask before I start to make a mess of all my settings??
