Hauppage remote will not work! "IR in use?" error (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have been having a problem with my TV remote and media portal.

This exact same problem occurs with both the latest stable release and also the SVN build listed.

Everytime I start up media portal I cannot seem to get the remote to work. The setup section in the config tool says it is working properly and the remote works with the hauppage dock tool.

If I close Media Portal, it crashes and in the MediaPortal.log the following entry is there:

"HCWHelper: Can't open IR device - IR in use?"

I have tried installing both the Hauppage IR32 drivers on this site and the newest IR32 drivers from the Hauppage website, with no luck.

Can someone please help me ?

I managed to solve the problem.

It turns out tha the 3.4 Hauppage drivers do not work properly with Media Portal 0.2.2.0.

Using the 3.3c drivers from the Hauppage website works.

Where is this 3.3 driver on the website? A direct link would be nice as I dont see it available there.
