    I was reading over at shspvr and noticed that Hauppauge has some beta drivers out. Here is the change log over what most of us already have:

    ** Hauppauge Release Info/History...
    */
    Driver Release 2.0.43.24108.PreRelease (04/18/06)
    * The joyous return of Win2k support!
    * Improved DMA support for 64bit Operating Systems.

    Driver Release 2.0.43.24103 (04/13/06)
    * Improved Firmware load time.
    * Future hardware revs handle Wolfson properly.
    * Fixed issue which yielded no audio and/or video problems on some systems. Problem was rare but nevertheless possible.
    * Experimenting with improved tuner picture quality under some circumstances on PVR500.

    Driver Release 2.0.43.24054 (02/23/06)
    * Improved Vista support/compliance. Filter pin medium Ids guaranteed uniquen and consistent across boots and slot changes.
    * Improved audio initialization. FM volume correct on first run if this is the first source.
    * TOP settings optimized for some tuners.
    * Much closer to full CCInDVD support.
    * GraphEdt (for example) shows correct pin direction, medium info, etc. for all filters and pins.
    * Registry Keys and Debug Output to investigate reports of Timestamps being reset.
    * Single 32/64 bit INF changed into two separate INFs (according to MS requirements).
    * Significant LineIn Audio improvements. :)
    * There had been a request for PAL-60 support (for XBox users). I threw this in
    WITHOUT ANY TESTING due to time constraints. Feedback welcome (irate complaining not).
    * Improved support for 32 bit WinTV applications on 64 bit systems.
    * Improved Vista support/compliance.
    * Support for future Mako Audio Firmware. (not related to LineIn audio changes).
    * INF Finetuning for Retail 500.

    You can download the drivers from Hauppauge HERE

    This drivers are BETA... so use at your own risk. I am not supporting these drivers or even saying they work. If you jack your system becuase of this... don't come crying to me.

    Seems like these drivers improve picture quality.

    I have upgraded too. I am wondering if you upgraded becuase it fixed something you were having a problem with or just to be on the latest drivers out there.
