The difference is little between two editions: if you select the drivers only tab, you get only the driver, in my opinion this is same file.

I have installed the 44 cd edition driver (this is with all hauppague software), i have tryed this, but nothing changed.

Ps: not good if you have to many tv tuner drivers in one pc, after Windows reinstall, possible you dont remember what drivers you installated possible you have your current driver config from two different install, and you get same error message.

I was similar tester in 2006 (my main theme is Localization, Skins,and i have trouble with tv tuners), but after the forum update i have lost my title. But now im returned.

In my Home city i have Avermedia m150 tv tuner, i hope this another tv tuner have no errors

Under MCE or with Mp i dont need the factory tv software, i install only the driver, i hope not this is the problem. In my opinion this is not windows update problem. In this case i get same error message with the old MP. I copyied the old MP to a different directory, but 0.2.3 working without any problem. In the MediaPortal dir i have the new MP Rc1, but this have trouble.

0.2.3 is good, RC1 not? what have 0.2.3? if i get same error by 0.2.3, i say i have software problem,but not...

Just for the record:
Windows have to be up to date with all windows update, since we compile our source against the latest available to get all bug fixes which we need to run MP smooth & without problems, if Windows it's not updated we cannot guaranty that it will work either

A update, have tested MP RC1 + latest SVN & old TV Engine & analog card detecting, scan & watching tv still works as it did before so nothing it's change which causes that.

In this case, this is a mystery for me. I have make clean install, this is not install problem or make MP registry entries? . If not, i see, i have only one way, new tv card driver install? what driver have you installed?

My another tv tuner m150 make same problem for me, but this is in another mashine, same problem?

i hope i puzzle it out what is wrong with the two PC or, i must use the older MP in the two PC.

Hi,
I always use the latest drivers available & you can find it here, just make sure when you test the card that GrabEPG it's turned off(this it's for all hybrid card which only has one tuner).
Btw, you do run it as administrator(didn't see any errors which indicated anything so only a guest)?

i can only monday testing if i go back my ,,work city'' (i have job in another city) , here in my second city i have another card the Avermedia m150, but i get same error. I hope if i get the problem source i have the solution to the two card.

ps: i tryed this full cd edtion drv package, but not helped

Developers:
Same PC, two directorys, original install place with RC1, older version copyed to anyother place, first dont working, second (0.2.3) working so this is not my drivers failed, not the updates missing, this is MP error.

Final working tvcard.dll attached...Update with this dll your MediaPortal dir.

Hi,
This fix it's in SVN so yes next public will have it, but the main problem here was windows language version(was broke when support for other languages was introduced) & graph building.
If this it's your problem it's not easy to say without logs, but danish should be lke rest if scandinavian versions of windows & therefore work, but who knows
