Hi im having some problems with my brand new Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 900H. First off all I can't get MP to find the unit. I read a post in german, which I didn't understand much of, but I got this much.

1. U can edit the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 900 in the file CaptureCardDefinitions.xml and put an H behinde, and it will locate it.
2. When I did that, I got the No graphic can be generated error. I ignored it and chose it.
3. Now I can't find any channels. Yes, its all plugged in with the Analog signal cable I got. It works fine with the software from Hauppauge.

Can anyone help me. I love MP, and have been using it for a long time, for video and music entetainment. I would really love to get the final pice in, and get the TV function tweaked out of this nice software.

Quick update. I dl the newest MediaPortal and update. Installed it all, and got the TV server up, after some work. Now I have another problem.

I had no problem finding the channels. When I want to "test" a channel in the TV server setup, I get differnt error's. Futhere more, I don't have a Streaming server pressent. Not even with MediaPortal running in the background.

Can anyone help me out?

Hi,
Are you trying to get DVB-T to work or is it Analogue?
I had the same problem with DVB-T channels, but after a reboot it all worked perfectly. Try that. :)
if that won't work try to update to the latest driver from hauppauge.com

Have you tried the Analogue because I can't get that to work.

I have the newest updates for my TV-Card installed.

I havent tried DVB-T, cause I dont have a propper antenna for this to work. I got cable analogue, and I still have the same problem. I can't get it to work.

I dl TV-Service watcher or something, and I can see that the service is up and running. But I get nothing when I enter MP and watch my tv.

When I try to watch tv from the TV-server setup, I get no picture or video error. I know there is a signal, cause WinTV is working just fine.

Did you find a way to solve the problem with analogue?

I can't get it working either - very frustrating :(!
