Hauppauge MCE Remote and MP (1 Viewer)

Hi. I am sure this has been covered off somewhere before, but I am unable to find a solution. The MCE remote that came with my Hauppauge 150 does not seem to have full functionality within MP. I am able to use the arrow, 'OK', and 'clear' buttons, and that is about it. The mappings for the buttons seem to all be in order within the setup of MP. I was assuming that the other buttons on the remote would serve a function as well? I have to hit clear at the bottom of the remote, instead of the back button to go back one menu. What is weird is that I cannot even find the "clear" button listed in the MP setup for the MCE remote. I am just curious if I missed something along the way, or f that is how it is supposed to be. When I used the remote with MythTV, it worked great. Apparently this remote is natively supported. Thanks for any help, and sorry for a stupid question.

i have same setup as you.

just go into MP setup and tick use MCE remote. and press OK thats it. you dont need todo anything else. no drivers or anything. its supported out of the box.

I agree. That's what I mean, apparently it's not working the way it should. Any thoughts?

Hi,
I'm using MCE Hauppauge 150 remote with IR connected to this TV card for long time with MP. I installed the "ir" driver from Hauppauge and check the remote on "Hauppauge" tab in Remote setup section.

I have tried reinstalling the drivers multiple times. Is anyone using the Hauppauge remote with MP? Does you 'my videos' and 'my music' buttons work effectively? I also do not think this is a hardware issue.

Thanks Kathrin, that solved my problem.

Well that did fix the problem. But now the arrow keys and OK button stopped working. I could have sworn they were working before with the lastest snapshot. I know for sure that they were working with the stable release. Any more ideas?
