Hauppauge NOVA ci S and DiSEqC problems (1 Viewer)

Hallo

I have installed a DiSEqC 1.0 with 4 LNB.
1W, 5E, 13E and 19E.

Outside on the DiSEqC 1.0, I have the following Settings:
"On the DiSEqC"
LNB1 is= 1W
LNB2 is= 5E
LNB3 is= 13E
LNB4 is= 19E

On the software side, in MediaPortal setup:
"LBN settings"
LNB1 = 1W = Level 1 A/A
LNB2 = 5E = Level 1 B/A
LNB3 = 13E = Level 1 A/B
LNB4 = 19E = Level 1 B/B

MediaPortal only open up the first LNB = 1W, why???
I MediaPortal setup I can use:
"Level 1 A/A, Level 1 B/A, Level 1 A/B, Level 1 B/B or none"
all the settings works fine on the LBN1, and it possible to scan the 1W satellite.

I have tryed Mytheatre, and the DiSEqC handling off all LNB, is working!!!

I have af "Hauppauge NOVA ci S" with Technotrend DBA drivers
(old one, with works just fine)


Did i setup LNB wrong or do the TV-Engine 0.2 have a bug???

I tryed the program, but still having problems... But not with MediaPortal..!

I'm using old DBA drivers 4.4.10.11, but I need at least 4.4.10.12 to get the TT MCE Tools to work...
I installed 4.4.10.12 drivers, but the after 5-10 minutes the computer (windows) reboot,,, no shutdown,
only power off and power on!!!

I tryed the newest drivers 4.4.10.18, same problems!!! And the 2.0 beta drives dont work at all, windows xp reboot before GUI startup...

May a hardware problems..? but old drivers work fine ..!

Any clue of why???

Not sure why but maybe best to do a rebuild of your OS and start out with the latest drivers also try moving the card to a different PCI slot? But form my experience DVBTMapper is your only hope for getting Diseqc to work with this card.
