Hi,

I have T 500 at teh moment and the standby issue drives me mad, I thinking about getting Pinnacle Dual DVB-T Pro. Does anyone know how do these two compare, what are the differences, which is one is 'better'? What about image quality, shuttering, how long does it take to change channel?

I fing T-500 to be really good tuner, apart of the stanby issue of course.

Thanks for any infomation.

PVR-Scheduler solves the standby issue, also does many other things related to control of MP, EPG updates etc.

From what i can find, there are 2 dual dvb-t cards that do not have this issue, one is the pinnacle (PCI) the other is the terratec cinergy 2400i (PCI-E).

Thought about changing to the Terratec, but as the Hauppauge card works fine besides the usb slow initialisation of the card, which PVRS solves anyway by shutting MP down prior to standby and then restarting it after resume.

ps, the hauppauge card works flawlessly with MCE, so it is a issue with MP and no setting in powerscheduler gets around it.
