Hauppauge PVR-150 driver recomendation (1 Viewer)

Hi you all,
Could someone recomend a driver version for the Hauppauge PVR-150 that works good? Allso a url to the driver if posible.

I was gona update to the latest version from the hauppauge homepage, but now I get only sound no picture. I uninstalled the latest version and installed the version that came with the card but I stil get only sound and no picture.

Hi,

no picture could also be a codec problem. Something visible in the logs?
- start MP
- start TV
- stop MP

Ok, I tried the drivers you sugested but I sill just get sound and the picture is black.

Lets look in to the codec then shal we?

I could not find any error log

I tried a few different video codec selections in MP but I get the same result with all of them sound but no picture. Should I reinstal MP?

Btw, WinTV2000 works without problem.

What graphics card and driver are you useing?
With my Nvidia 5900, the 82.12 drivers and large fonts, I can't see video with "exclusive directx mode" enabled. If I set it back to normal font size I have video again. It seems to be a NVIDIA problem, because I loose video on a 64bit system too.

but I seriously don't think it is a problem with the graphix adapter.

The thing is that everything worked fine. Then I got the idea in my head the I should update the Hauppauge TV tuner drivers. (why try to fix something that is NOT broken). After the update I can only get sound and no picture in MP but WinTV2000 works bether then ever before. Tomorrow I will try to reinstall MP.

OK, I made a clean instal of MP RC2 and now I got my TV tuner up and runing again with the new drivers Thanks wishywashy and FlipGer for your help.

Abveously a new instal of MP is requred when I update the tuner drivers.
