Hauppauge PVR 150 quality (1 Viewer)

Recently I have installed a Hauppauge WinTV PVR150 card. The quality of the reception is really bad.

I have downloaded the latest drivers from the Hauppauge site, installed MediaPortal 1.1.0 RC2 and SAF 4.00.
Not only the picture quality in MP is bad, also MediaCenter and ChrisTV is bad.

When I plug the cable into my tv the reception is much better.

Anyone an idea?

So you are referring to the reception, and not the general picture quality? If the later, there is a quality control in TVE that can do wonders for it.

I think its the reception. I tried several programs and the image is very blurry.

Try setting quality control to custom settings w/100 % and var. bit rate average
