I've been looking for a replacement for my digialtnow quad card (no longer made)and this looks very good.
Anyone have a hauppauge quadhd card?
    specs at:
    http://www.hauppauge.com.sg/site/products/data_quadhd.html

    $99us on amazon see:
    https://www.amazon.com/HAUPPAUGE-WinTV-quadHD-Express-Tuner-1609/dp/B01DZSVLTW

$203 here in Australia on ebay see:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hauppauge-QuadHD-PCIe-TV-Tuner-Card-QUADHD-/232018457765

    thoughts?
Usually Hauppauge products are good quality. Interesting the card has a heatsink over its chips - I wouldn't think tuners, even 4 of them would generate enough heat to warrant cooling.

That particular model (the one you linked) is for ATSC and clear QAM. It's essentially useless outside the US, Canada and South Korea. Therefore if you're based in Australia, it would be a terrible choice.

    thankyou for picking that up!
The ebay ad lists dvb-t2 or dvbt, so they must be different models? Or different specs for different countries.

Weirdly zooming in on the amazon card picture it shows dvb-t/pal on the card itself

    You're welcome. :)

    Both.
The "1609" model is the US/Canada/South-Korea ATSC + clear QAM model that you don't want.
The "1607" model is the rest-of-the-world DVB-C/T/T2 model that you do want.

Yeah, I saw that myself. It's unhelpful at best and confusing at worst.

P.S. I assume you picked up on this and don't care, but just in case you didn't notice and do care: compared to a DN quad card, the Hauppauge quad card doesn't have DAB/DAB+ or FM radio support. The DN quad card is the only quad card with either DAB/DAB+ and/or FM radio support. In fact, the DN card might be the only non-USB and/or multi-tuner product with DAB/DAB+ support.

    Thankyou for clearing that up.
Yes I did notice there was no DAB+ on the quadhd card.. I did want DAB+ support for MP years ago but now my DSL is cheaper and reliable so DAB is no longer important.

My digital now quad card is still working perfectly. I'm thinking of doing another MP HTPC build and wanted to use new parts - and quad dvb-t cards are not very common.

Yeah, there aren't too many options.

You can get 8 tuners on one card:
    http://www.digital-devices.eu/shop/...ard-dvb-c2/t2-isdb-t-dd-max-a8i-tv-card?c=156

There are a range of other Digital Devices configurations that would result in 4 or more tuners, including:
(Note: there are network attached options as well.)

Then aside from the Hauppauge and DN quad tuner cards, there's the TBS 6205:
    http://www.tbsdtv.com/products/tbs6205_dvb_t2_quad_tuner_pcie_card.html
(...and previous 6284 and 6285 models.)

Finally, if analog support was required, there's the BGT3655 with 3 tuners.
