I am new to MediaPortal and am very impressed thus far. Everything is working perfectly except my remote. I have updated the driver via the link in the configuration and have ensured that all the pertinent boxes are selected for Hauppauge remote support. If I use my old irremote.ini settings (setup for GB-PVR), I can use the arrow keys and the 'OK' button, but I thinks that's because I have those setup in the defaults. If I use the irremote.ini file loaded with the above mentioned link, I get nothing.

I have verified the latest card drivers (PVR-150) from the Hauppauge website are installed. I have seen in several other posts mention of installing the WIN-TV 2000 software, but I do not use this, so it's not installed.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

I'm having this same problem, when I click on the link I get a 404 page not found. Any ideas where I can find this?
Thanks!

Thanks for the response Ray, much appreciated.

I tried importing the Hauppauge HCW.xml file thats referenced in that post but I still get the same results. The arrow keys and the ok buttons work but thats it. I'm using the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250. The remote that came with it is a 45 button remote but it is not grey, it's black. Is this a completely different remote?
Thanks
Jason

OK, sorry this was my fault. I assumed that my Hauppauge card came with a Hauppauge remote, which was not the case. This one is actually the microsoft remote. The windows button in the middle should have tipped me off sooner but I just thought that was a "windows key" button.
Thanks again for the help
Jason
