Synopsis::

I can't seem to get Media Portal to use the Hauppauge remote control. I have a PVR-150 and everything seems to work fine with the exception of the remote.

I have tried RC4 and SVN Nightly build...

Anyone have any suggestions?

p.s. I have downloaded and installed the driver from the Media Portal website.

Hi,

may sound like a silly question, but did you activate the remote in setup?
Configure->Remote->Hauppauge Remote->Use Remote
I cannot see any HCW messages in the log. Also try turning extended logging on in that TAB.

What type of remote is it? (color / number of buttons)

Stupit Newbe Mistake

I did have the box checked, but the problem was some other stupid newbe mistake....

I didn't want to install all the extra programs that came w/ the PVR-150.... so I just installed the drivers... mistake.

Once I installed all the software that came w/ the card, it worked fine.
