Hauppauge remote..Open mediaportal (1 Viewer)

I am having difficulty in starting mediportal with Hauppauge remote.
I found a thread on someother forum that discusses changing my irremote.ini file to point to mediaportal.exe.
I have done this with this. GO={run(C:\Progra~1\Team~1\Mediap~1\mediaportal.exe)}
Now when i hit the go button on my remote mp should start, However all I get is the error "Application not found."
What am I doing wrong.

Not sure about your problem, but for what it is worth, I am using Translator from IR Server Suite to start MP.

There's an space at the end. It should read .exe

Try that.

Yeah that is just a word wraparound error. The original string does not have a space in the exe

You might have an issue I once had as well. One of your directories is not "Team~1" but "Team~2" for instance. This can happen if at some time you have a directory with a similar name like "Team mediaportal backup".

To test this, start a command prompt and do

• cd progra~1
• cd team~1
• cd mediap~1

If at some point you end up in a different directory than expected, go back up (cd ..) and try with "~2"
