I am running MediaPortal (1.0 RC2) and TV server on Visa 64 (SP1) with an Hauppauge WinTV-HVR4000 card. Everything is working fine - nearly.
TV server scans OK and picks up BBC HD. In MediaPortal, you can "switch the Tv on" and tune to all the channels. Sound and picture fine. However, if you select BBC HD you only get a blank screen and no sound.
The HVR card comes with a multimedia center, Power Cinema (which is not a patch on Media Portal - good work - thanks chaps
). If you install Power Cinema, Media Portal CAN show BBC HD.
This suggests I am missing a software decoder. I would prefer just to install the driver not the all of Power Cinenema - can anybody help.
