I know, there's been a lot of conversation about these plugins (or the lack there of these days).

However, I would like to know how people who use mediaportal also gain access to things like:
1. HBOGo.com
2. Hulu.com
3. Netflix.com
4. etc...

Basically, anything I can get to in a web browser and watch - I'd LIKE to be able to do so from my remote control, within mediaportal - or some easy way to switch around at least.

How do people handle it now?

I'll tell you my method: Get up, go to laptop, remote into my HPCC with mediaportal on it, minimize Mediaportal, open chrome and hit play =). Then afterwards, go back and close chrome, and open back up mediaportal. It's of course far from perfect!

Thanks

I use Apple TV to watch Hulu and Netflix. One big advantage with the ATV and other media players/smart TVs over web browsers is better image quality e.g. no tearing.

Kylo is wonderful, never seen that before. My only issue is that with kiosk mode it still pops up BEHIND mediaportal. I have double checked and I have "unchecked" the "always keep MP on top" setting in MP. Any ideas for this?

I hear you, but I don't have an apple TV and would prefer to keep everything on a single device - preferebly my MP powered HPCC =).

+1 on the Kylo browser. I use MultiShortcut to launch the browser from within MP, which gives a more integrated feel to everything. I also use MetoLauncher to start the Windows 8 Netflix and 4oD (UK channel) app.

I use the small, wireless Logitech K400 keyboard with built-in mouse-pad with both the Kylo browser and Windows 8 apps, which is essential I think.
