Synopsis::

I have been running Media Portal successfully for a few weeks. However, for the last 5 days is appears to shutdown for no apparent reason. I simply get the the following error in the log :

29/03/2006 15:00:38 HCWHelper: Shutting down

I have deinstalled fully and reinstalled. I am not aware of any other software/hardware have been installed which could coincide with the issue.

Any thoughts gratefully received.

I've done a fresh install of XP Pro with all neccessary updates (including the ones suggested in the tips and tricks forum), but MP shuts down without warning - no error messages of any sort. Opening up the FULL mediaportal log displays just one line:

30/03/2006 05:49:04 HCWHelper: Shutting down

Any advice?

(p.s. I'm using a single Nova-T tuner card. For some reason mediaportal support template does not show it)
