HD Bitstreaming with ATI 5xxx (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I want to start this thread, because I cant get HD bitstreaming with MP. I use the realtek 2.42 driver, SAF 5.0beta and hd bitsreaming works with PowerDVD, but not in MP.


Who has it working with MP and how did you manage this?

I have it solved. I have installed Windows 7 + SAF 5beta + Realtek 2.42 + ATI driver 10.2 and it works!!!!!

Hi Stone,
I was very interested in this its discovery. It could make a tutorial one with the detailed configurations. For the lay users, as I and many others will be very been thankful.
I have a ATI 5870 and I did not obtain to make the HD Bistreaming nor with Blu-Ray with archives much less mkv or m2ts with audio HD (True HD and DTS HD ME). I even had problems with audio SD, that was failing. I am using the Windows 7 64 bits.

ATI driver 10.2 is Catalyst Control Center 10.2?

Hey stone, does your system get DTSMA and Truehd when you play MKV files?

Try to avoid the Haali Media Splitter when using MKV for bitstreaming... use Matroska Splitter from MPC-HC Standalone Filters in combination with the MediaPortal patches for MPC-HC.

Haali has serious problems with HD Audio tracks!

How do you get Subtitles if you do that? I heard without Haali you can't get subtitles from an MKV file with MP? I am trying to play my rip of Avatar with DTS-MA audio and N'avi subtitles - in MP the video is almost unwatchable (haali splitter) but in MPC-HC the video is perfect but subtitles don't show up. Is it possible to get subtitles in MP with the MPC-HC standalone matroska splitter?
