HD Video/Audio Out of Sync (1 Viewer)

Ever since I reinstalled on a 1TB drive and slipstreamed SP3 i've been having trouble with HD files. If I play 720p files the sound is about 1-5 secs ahead of the video(on both .mkv and .mp4 files). I've got my h264 on coreavc with audio on MPA but it makes no difference even though the cpu is atat 40-60%

Any ideas in how to get it back in sync?

I installed my codecs using the guide and it worked fine on my previous installs.

Thanks

OK, but iirc I tried swapping to the ffdshow decoder (OK it used more cpu) but I still had the same problem.

Try checking the CPU utilization ! On my system i had the utilization too high and this was the problem.
Anyway now i tried Reclock to have a stutter-free playback. Everything works fine except 1080p videos, i still have sync problems.
I use Nvidia 8200 integrated card with EVR and HDMI cponnection.

Any ideas ?

Haven't tried PowerDVD yet, just not had time but I don' think CPU is an issue, on CoreAVC it uses ~40% and on FFD it use ~65% so it is not as if it is maxing out.

I had problems with audio sync when i used ffdshow for audio decoding. Never got it to work properly...

But since i switched to ac3filter all my sync problems went away, so you might want to give that a shot.

And i also use CoreAVC for h264 decoding.
