Hands down my favorite piece of software EVER! </p><p>Can anyone verify that the BASS audio engine only results in Stereo sound when using it with an Auzentech (HDA) X-Plosion? I tested 4 or 5 MP3s with VLC, and Windows Media Player and got 6.1 upmixing using the "karaoke" feature and "stereo wav input" as the source. When I used the new Audio engine (BASS) after upgrading from MP 0.2.1.0 Stable, I found that I only got stereo output with the same MP3s. I also found this to be the case for the TV when timeshifting is off (easy enough to turn, but the delay changing channels is sometimes annoying). If I switch back to the internal player, I get all 6.1 channels. Both ways it is still encoding using the DTS Interactive, but again, I don't get the 6.1 upmix if I use either the BASS engine, or the TV without the timeshifting. I jumped back to my previous install (0.2.1.0 stable) and found that it works with/without timeshifting on the TV, and the audio engine works just fine (I don't believe the BASS audio engine was used in 0.2.1 stable).</p><p>Anyone else with an Auzentech card that can verify this?</p><p>Not really a big deal to me, but it would be fun to use visualizations.</p><p>Thanks!</p></blockquote><p></p>
