HDD Recording space left? (1 Viewer)

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but could we add some kind of really basic horizontal bar, possibly on the schedualed recording screen, which would just give at a glance, what % harddrive is already used and maybe show how much the selected recording would use.

e.g.

First bit shows used space, the second would show space required to record selected program, and obviously a free space section...

Hello all,

I'm searching for some IMO basic feature like this one - I would be happy even with a simple set of numbers giving me the space in GB on the different disks or at least one number for the recordings disk. Searching the forum I did not find many threads about this issue.

Is it possible that this feature isn't needed? I see parameters for recordings defining how long they should be kept. Is it meant that MP/TVS automatically purges some recordings when space is getting low? In my experience this did not work this way - I instead remember having lost some recordings in times my disk space was low.

Any hint would be appreciated.
