I copy some of my blu-ray in mkv using the soft makemkv. When I want to read this mkv in MP, 1.1.0 Final and activate subtitle, I have the following message : "HDMV embedded subtitle". Is there a solution to fix it ?

Hello,

Finally "HDMV embedded subtitle" are the name of my subtitles . I check several movies from my blu-ray and convert using makemkv, I just can not have the subtitles in MP. If I use directly MPC-HC, I can see it.

how r u extracting the subtitle out from the blu-ray? it should come from the PGS stream on the blu-ray disc

i found a guide, used it the other day and it works a treat...make sure u have all the apps installed :

as far as i know u cannot read the subtitles from a bluray disc as of yet in MP (or in any other app besides a BR player like PowerDVD10) ...but this method works fine for mkv files

sorry i should have said that MP can read srt subtitle files and streams but not PGS
