    Hi all.

How do I edit the content of "#header.label:1" If i use the mediaPortal editor (I know, i know) I can see a list of strings that the header is pointing to but I don't know where they live. Are the strings in the skin or the MP program itself? basically i want to remove these titles but if I delete "#header.label:1" it shows up on the page as "header something something" (can't remember :)). I looked for a null in the string and found I could make my own but would just like to undertand it all a bit more first.

    Thanks for your patience.

    Glenn

#header.label:1 will set the value of the property "#header.value" to the value of the string in the strings.xml which is 1

if you just want to have no string there just do a "#header.label: "
you can find the strings.xml in the language folder inside the mediaportal directory.

glenn, maybe we should have a chat some time about the skinning engine, i think i can give you some tipps to make development faster for you...

i know you are living in a time-zone quite few hours away of mine, but maybe when it's late evening here there is time for both of us to join the #mp-design channel and have a chat if you are interested ;)
