Hi all!

I'm having trouble with high CPU usage when using the TV-server and MP on a single seat setup.

The CPU usage of the tvserver.exe is okey, about 15-30 %, used alone, when timeshifting and recording. But when I'm using the TV-server plugin in MP, the CPU usage goes up to 100 % the whole time TV is on. When I'm not using the TV in MP CPU usage is 20-30 %, so I can watch movies with no problem. When watching TV in WinTV2000 the CPU usage is also around 30 %.
I have installed all latest drivers to my TV-card, but nothing helped!

Any ideas?

First try turning off the exclusive use of VMR9 under Directshow filter control, and maybe try another codec altogether rather than the MPV + MPA combination and see if there is any difference.

I had the same issue, reverting to the bluetwo skin fixed it for me.

    Solved!

Okay, by changing to the InterVideo for Hauppauge codecs the CPU sunk to 20-30 % :) Allthough I still have problem with stutter during timeshifted live-tv, recording works perfect.
