Hi,
I'm using a Hauppage pvr150 MCE to receive compositte video from a UK Panasonic SKY reciever (using the TV Server to capture the stream). Video capture and playback etc. works perfectly. I'm trying to configure the EPG and I don't know if want I want to achieve is possible. I currently don't have a method of changing the sky channel so I'm currently relying on manually changing the channel with the sky remote (if anyone can sugest an econmonical Serial - IR solution it would be appreciated).
Initially, I want to map every sky station that I receive to the same channel number, i.e. the number of my compositte input. I can't figure out a way of doing this. For this to work I will have to schedule a recording on the EPG and set the sky box to automatically view the channel. Why? because, (i) it will allow me to manage my recordings etc and it will name them correctly. I've looked at using both hte built in epg and XMLTV, which looks the most promising. I have obtained the xmltvgui which has allowed me to build the XML file with the station details, all I need ot do now is to map all of the stations to one chanel.
All help is appreciated.
Regards
RobW
