Maybe I have unwittingly breached protocol; I don't know. I have also posted here to confirm my setup template is being reproduced as it is not appearing in the Newbie forum. I got off to a flying start with MP by going through the Manual very thoroughly (like a good boy.) I'm now making further progress by the trial-and-error method which is not very efficient. I am liking what I see and the only crashes occur if I try to drag the screen edges at the same time as TV is on. I've gone through the FAQs, done many Forum searches, and got immediate help from the first couple of threads I posted. However a couple of others have remained unanswered i.e. please explain Zoom modes and please elaborate on the area in MP setup\DirectShow Filter Control\MPA Decoder named "AC3/AAC/DTS/LPCM". Do I do anything with it at all as my ONLY audio out from the computer is by spdif and that is selected in the two area above. I have another question now which is how do I get the picture size to "stick". What I do is launch MP on my monitor, then drag it across to our projector screen and I have to drag the corner to fit the screen every time. I'd also like picture-only somehow i.e. no frame and bar across the top. Were all these sorts of questions explained in a Manual for the version of MP previous to 0.2.3 and parts of the latest manual are awaiting update? If so, can the old manual be supplied for assistance in the meantime. Failing that, is there some other basic guide I should be reading rather than posting multiple questions?:S [/QUOTE]
