I know this sounds funny but my child has gotten its fingers on the remote while I was not in the room. It clicked around for some minutes and since then all sounds are gone. When I came back MP was somewhere in the config screens and showed a framerate info and some other debug informationen. I restarted MP and that "special screen" was gone. MP works all well now - but without any sound.

No, neither the TV nor the HTPC are muted. I can play videos through VLC with sound and al windows sound work as expected. It's all inside MP.

Any ideas anyone? Please? :-(
