Help needed with VLC and RTSP, exact RTSP-stream? (1 Viewer)

Hello,

i am a newbie and just installed Media-Portal 1.13 and configured it.
With the MediaPortal-Client everything is fine so far but i need to connect to specific TV-Channels with VLC to the Media-Portal-Server.
And i tried to search for but i couldn´t find any details about the exact RTSP-Path to get a TV-channel running with VLC.

Hi Jens

You could use the built in "DVB-IP" tuner for receiving MPEG 2 transport streams (TS) via RTSP, RTP, UDP or HTTP. If the stream is not an MPEG 2 TS, try the VODServer plugin:

Hi,
thank you for feedback.
The main usage in my case will be the usage of RTSP-usage of different clients.
The problem is to get a specific path for each channel and as far as i know now it is not possible with MediPortal
I tried a lot and i think unfortunately it is not usable for that so i decided to go with DVBViewer and it is really running fine.
