Hi guys I've come across a small problem,looking to the masses for help.Whenever I use the keyboard,I lose function of remote control whenever i restart MediaPortal.I have to do a complete restart before I can use remote inside MediaPortal anyone else experience this?,any solutions?

You've posted in the titan skin forum, does this only happen in the titan skin? Also you need to be more specific/clear. Do you mean that whenever you use the keyboard the remote control stops working until you restart mediaportal? What is a complete restart? do you mean restarting the PC because you just said you restarted mediaportal.

Try setting mediaportal to "always on top" if that doesn't work then for someone to help you they probably need more information.

eg.

- Log Files
- Type of receiver
- Type of remote
- What software are you using with the receiver
- What remote settings in that software
- What remote settings in MP
- Is the receiver still visible in device manager when it stops working
- Does the remote still work with other programs after it stops

The more information you give the more likely someone will help you.

Sorry for not being more specific,I will try to provide more details.
The type of receiver is IMON,I know this software can cause issues.The remote is a Harmony One set up as MCE remote.If I am in Titan skin I can navigate all the menus,play,pause,fwd,skip chapters etc.The moment I exit mediaportal and use the keyboard(to configure settings or surf the net),when I start Mediaportal again the remote does not work.I have tried "always on top", but that doesn't seem to work.
I know this seems a silly little glitch,It's just frustrating having to reboot everytime I want to use the remote after using keyboard.Hope I explained myself a little better and that someone may be able to help

Solved ,turns out when I reinstalled mediaportal from "Backupsettings" plugin it hadn't imported device mappings correctly,I found an older backup of my imon remote settings and bingo!
