Help Please: MP doesnt display any of my previouse recordings or TV programs
It seems like the Server isnt running?

MP was working just fine, but I needed to add a new larger HDD.
So I switch the PC off.
Unpluged it DVD drive, and connected the larger HDD in its place.
(because I had no empty HDD sockets left)

Then I powered back on.
At start-up I heard 3 bleeps, instead of the usuall 1 bleep.
Then Windows loaded, and then MP.

But when selecting the [TV] option, in the client, it doesnt show:
a: any of my previouse recordings
b: any TV channels in: Live TV or the EPG

When I click on:
a: the Live TV, or the EPG or the Scheduled Recordings icons, nothing happens.
b: previouse recordings, the window that normally opens, opens OK, but it just says: This view cant be built

The first 2 options are missing from the list down the left of the screen, eg:
Option Missing (Audio)
Option Missing (option for iPlayer etc)
online video
TV
News
weather
Launcer
Other

In Windows: All of the HDD's are accessable and working OK.
Then I double checked all the connections, and remove the new HDD, and re-connected the DVD drive.

It seems like the Server isnt running, but its icon in the bottom hidden toolbar is shown green,
indicating that it is on.

I tried restarting Windows & just MP several times but nothing changes.

Update:
Earlier: I had set up several recordings starting at 7pm.
And after this fault occured, I was looking at the various setup pages in: MP2 Config
and notice that those scheduled recordings were still listed,
but as mentioned above: they are not displayed in the client.

The first of those programs seems to have started up MP, to record the first of those scheduled recordings,
but its still not displayed in the client.

Hi,
Can anyone help please ?
I've had alook around the client, and when I go to: Settings/General/Connectivity/Home Server
it says: 'Currently this MP2 client is not attached to a Home Server

So how do I rectify this ??

    Hi, it looks like the Client's server connection settings got corrupted somehow and were reset, hopefully this is an easy fix.
    • Open MP2-Client, navigate to Settings->General->Connectivity->Home server.
    • In the menu on the left there may be an option Detach from home server, if there is click it and acknowledge the dialog that pops up, if not skip to the next step
    • There should now be an option in the left menu to Search for servers, click this and hopefully your server will be listed as an option to attach to
    • After attaching you should now have access to TV, but I recommend restarting the client at this point to avoid any potential issues
    It looks like your server has been running normally so any recordings, etc should have still occurred. If you run into any issues with the above steps let me know here.
